I would like to think that Ansel would be proud of this image. It was fun playing with Photoshop to create this dramatic Black and White image. This image shows the power of clouds to make a photo infinitely more interesting (compared to a previous image).
I just returned from a three-day camping trip to central Oregon. As a native and proud Oregonian, I can now (finally) say that I’ve been to Crater Lake. I don’t know why it took so long, but I made it and that is what counts. My friend Jim challenged me to take a picture of Crater Lake that has never been taken before; I don’t know if I’ve accomplished that goal with this image, but I like it regardless (I just wish there were some more clouds in the sky that night). I’ll be posting more pictures of my trip over the next few days, so stay tuned.
